Humbled by tradition, I studied yoga in Bali, Indonesia under the lineage of K. Pattabhi Jois and B.K.S. Iyengar. In addition to my RYT200, I’m a mat pilates instructor, certified by Power Pilates through the Joseph Pilates classical method. I view yoga as a practice for stilling the mind, and pilates a tool for taking form.
I began teaching yoga and self-defense in 2017 to young girls, before working at a women’s gym in Manhattan. I believe that movement of the body is a conduit for stillness of the mind, and together these lead to profound confidence for life.
In my classes, expect strong alignment cues — both physical and mental. When we align ourselves with anatomical integrity, we create space for internal alignment with our truest values, goals, and dreams. We work-out to work-in.
